In addition to the strong detection capabilities required to safeguard compute resources, organizations need to make sure the software they run is up-to-date and does not contain vulnerabilities that will expose them to attacks. Reducing the Attack Surface addresses this need.
Reducing the Attack Surface is a main security pillar in Intezer Protect and also required by many compliance frameworks such as PCI, HIPAA, FedRAMP and NIST.
Intezer Protect allows organizations to be proactive in securing their environments by reducing the chance of being attacked in the first place. This is done by scanning the assets for risky misconfigurations and identifying vulnerabilities at runtime.
View the Vulnerability Status Across the Entire Environment
The dashboard provides a high-level view of all vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in the environment.
The Vulnerability Status section in the dashboard displays the number of vulnerable assets that require attention. The Vulnerability Status is calculated for each host by showing the highest risk CVE or misconfiguration found on the asset.
